The Nursing Administration supervises the nursing aspects and procedures throughout the hospital departments. The department is full of highly qualified nurses.



This department organizes the following activities:

  • Providing guidance to KFMMC inpatients in religious matters and stimulating their morale.
  • A female religious officer provides the same guidance to female inpatients.
  • Preparing lectures and symposiums in the Mosques for KFMMC staff.
  • Distributing the Holy Quran in various languages to non-Arabic speakers.
  • Arranging trips from Omrah and pilgrimages for KFMMC staff.
  • Giving the Friday sermon in English for non-Arabic speakers.
  • Broadcasting guidance programs via the in-hose video channel for KFMMC patients.
  • Establishing projects of breaking the fast of the fasters during blessed Ramadan.



Public Relations Department, KFMMC Dhahran has functions including:
  • Showing the real, honorable picture of King Fahd Military Medical Complex in particular and the Medical Services Division in general.
  • Advising KFMMC staff of the unique Medical Services and activities notifying the citizen's medical improvements and the tremendous capability of new equipment.
  • Planning, organizing, supervising and coordinating the visits to KFMMC, by a government authority or other authorities(companies, hospitals, establishments, etc.).
  • Preparing, supervising symposiums, conferences to be held and providing media cover by the Complex.
  • Displaying health education programs inside the hospital via the closed T.V.station.
  • and other activities, that, the Department presents in conjunction with other.

This department carries out all the engineering work for KFMMC and is comprised of the following sections like Water Treatment Plant, Sewage Treatment Plant, Central Boilers and many more.It also has Maintenance section which maintains all the KFMMC utilities and this maintenance is carried out by a Technical team.


Patient Affairs Administration is one of the most active Departments at KFMMC, serving a large number of patients in order to provide more patient services mainly Military, and it composed of four (4) units namely: Medical Reports, Social Services, Patient Relations and Clinic Admin.


The Physiotherapy Department helps the patients to reduce their health problem and bring their condition to normal without using any medications, where it treats the skeleton muscles such as back and neck pain, joints cases tissues, sports injuries and other injuries by using the modern equipment such as ultra sound, Tines Aaidt and others. The Department is supervising by highly qualified Saudi specialists.


The breathing care department is considered as one of the active departments in the hospital and it administratively belongs to medical administration section in the hospital. Available equipment in the department: The department contents the new modern of artificial breathing machine whether for adults, newborn children. It also contents a laboratory for artery blood analysis for gases. And a laboratory for lung function studying. It has a high frequency and high tech artificial breathing machine.


The medical library contains over 13,00 Medical and Scientific books. It has been subscribed in many monthly scientific magazines and newspapers. The Library also contains hearing and optical aid section, which provides the library’s references by the information that might need by using hearing and videotapes. There is a internet services in the library for easy access to the medical and administration information in any place and any time.


The main aim of Quality and Efficiency Management is improving the performance of each Department.
